Woot! I'm unemployed.
So, quit my job yesterday. Business there had taken a downturn, I never really liked it there anyway, and an opportunity for a graceful exit presented itself, so here I am.
I don't normally like quitting a job without having another one, but I've got no mortgage, no car payment, no debt, live well below my means, and have enough money in savings to last at least two years, maybe three if I penny pinch. So this is the absolute least stressful unemployment I've ever had.
So, Lounge, given no job obligations and no money stress (within reason), what would you do?
Aggressively job hunt immediately?
Take some time off, maybe go on a bucket-list vacation?
Spend some time on your hobbies?
Try to start a business that you've been thinking about?
Hookers and blow?
Which way would you go?
